This is a suggested tour itinerary available on any of our private boats. Choose the boat that best fits your group and allow enough time to enjoy the village, waterfall, and beautiful coastline.
Panga: 5–6 hours recommended
Yacht or Catamaran: 6–8 hours recommended
Our pangas offer a faster ride along the coast, allowing you to spend more time exploring. Yachts and catamarans cruise at a more relaxed pace, so we suggest booking additional hours to make the most of your day.
Explore Quimixto
Tucked away along the southern shores of Banderas Bay, just before Yelapa, Quimixto is a tiny fishing village where life moves at a slower pace. With only a few hundred residents, very few cars, and donkeys still used for transportation, this peaceful coastal escape feels far removed from the busy streets of Puerto Vallarta.
The highlight of visiting Quimixto is its beautiful jungle waterfall, located about a 30-minute hike from the village. Follow the scenic trail along the river or opt for a traditional donkey ride to the falls, enjoying the lush tropical surroundings along the way.
Once you arrive, take a refreshing swim in the natural waterfall pool, try the rock slide if you’re feeling adventurous, or settle in at the rustic restaurant for a delicious local meal and an ice-cold margarita.
After your waterfall adventure, continue along the coast to Los Arcos Marine Park, one of Puerto Vallarta’s most popular snorkeling destinations. Dive into the clear waters and discover colorful tropical fish and the incredible underwater scenery surrounding these iconic rock formations.
If you’d like to extend your adventure, add extra time to discover more waterfalls, relax on the beach, go horseback riding, or explore another snorkeling spot along the southern coastline.

Departure & Dock Fees
Some marinas charge a small departure or arrival dock fee, which is payable in cash on the day of your tour.
Additionally, departures from certain docks may require a one-hour relocation fee, depending on the requested pickup location. Any applicable dock fees or relocation fees will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation, which can be paid via credit card, Venmo, Apple Pay, or Zelle. If you book online, the full amount will be charged at the time of booking.
